A 5.2 magnitude quake was recorded close to Talisay Tuesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 14:12 UTC (22:12 local time), the region was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake jolted at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter roughly 7 km east-southeast of Talisay.

According to the USGS DYFI report, light to moderate shaking was detected and several residents in and around the Calero area reported feeling the earthquake.

Over the last week, a magnitude 6.9 quake was reported in the area, with the event occurring near Bateria prior to this quake.
