The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has declared an Ozone Action Day for the Dallas-Fort Worth area on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Atmospheric conditions are anticipated to be conducive to high levels of ozone air pollution in the region on that day. To help reduce ozone pollution, residents are encouraged to share rides, walk, ride bicycles, bring lunch to work, avoid using drive-through lanes, conserve energy, and ensure their vehicles are properly tuned, according to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
