ALEUTIANS EAST BOROUGH, AK — Saturday evening, a 5.2 magnitude quake was registered near Sand Point, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck the area at 6:25 a.m. (7:25 p.m. local time). It occurred at a depth of 20 miles with the epicenter located approximately 79 miles south-southeast of Sand Point.
