Tropical Storm Fernand: Monday, Aug 25 update from the NHC on latest developments

The National Hurricane Center’s 4 a.m. Monday advisory reported that Tropical Storm Fernand is in the Atlantic Ocean, 360 miles east-northeast of Bermuda. With maximum sustained winds of 50 mph, it is moving north-northeast at 12 mph.

“… Fernand should move across the open waters of the subtropical central Atlantic well east and northeast of Bermuda”, analysts wrote. They also said “Weakening is expected to begin tonight, and Fernand is expected to become post-tropical on Wednesday.”
