As per the National Hurricane Center’s 4 p.m. Tuesday update, Tropical Storm Dexter is in the Atlantic Ocean, 460 miles north-northeast of Bermuda. Packing maximum sustained winds of 40 mph, the system is tracking northeast at 13 mph.

“Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours as the system becomes an extratropical cyclone”, forecasters explained.
