Update: Earthquake of 5.2 magnitude detected close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia on Aug. 3

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.2 magnitude quake struck near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday morning.

It was reported that a tremor hit the region at 14:29 UTC (01:29 local time). The epicenter was located roughly 165 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 10 km.
