A 5.1 magnitude quake was detected near Ozernovskiy Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 14:21 UTC (01:21 local time), the region was hit by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of 31 km, with its epicenter about 188 km east-southeast of Ozernovskiy.
