Update: Earthquake measuring 5.6 shakes area near East Pacific Rise on July 19

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.6 magnitude quake occurred near East Pacific Rise Saturday morning.

It was reported that a tremor hit the region at 15:55 UTC (08:55 local time). The epicenter was located north of East Pacific Rise, at a depth of 10 km.
