Update: Seismic activity on July 22 – 5.0 magnitude earthquake close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia recorded

On Tuesday around midday, a 5.0 magnitude quake was registered near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor hit the region at 02:34 UTC (13:34 local time). The epicenter was located about 142 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 10 km.
