According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.2 magnitude quake occurred near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday morning.

At 16:13 UTC (03:13 local time), the region was hit by a tremor. The earthquake shook at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter roughly 146 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
