The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 7.4 magnitude quake hit close to 2025 Eastern Kamchatka Sunday afternoon.

The tremor, which rocked the region at 06:49 UTC (17:49 local time), was centered near 2025 Eastern Kamchatka. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
