Earthquake of magnitude 6.6 recorded close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia on July 20

Sunday afternoon, a 6.6 magnitude quake was detected near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor hit the region at 07:22 UTC (18:22 local time). The epicenter was located about 147 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 9 km.
