Update: Earthquake measuring 5.1 strikes area near Palekastro, Greece on July 7

Monday evening, a 5.1 magnitude quake was detected close to Palekastro, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted the region at 17:46 UTC (19:46 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter located approximately 49 km southeast of Palekastro.
