A 7.3 magnitude quake was recorded close to 2025 Sand Point Wednesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

It was reported that a tremor rocked the region at 8:37 p.m. (9:37 a.m. local time). The epicenter was situated near 2025 Sand Point, at a depth of 12 miles.
