ALEUTIANS EAST BOROUGH, AK—Wednesday morning, a 7.3 magnitude quake was reported close to Sand Point, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor struck the area at 8:37 p.m. (9:37 a.m. local time). It occurred at a depth of 12 miles with the epicenter located about 54 miles south of Sand Point.
