SAN BENITO COUNTY, CA — A 3.5 magnitude quake was registered close to Pinnacles Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor rattled at 1:31 a.m., with its epicenter located approximately 4 miles east of Pinnacles and a depth of 7 miles.

According to the USGS DYFI report, weak shaking was recorded and people in several cities—including Carmel, Seaside and Soledad—reported feeling the tremor.

Over the last week, a magnitude 2.5 quake was reported in the region, occurring near Pinnacles seven days earlier.
