CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a preliminary 2.1 magnitude quake shook close to Danville on Saturday around midnight.
It was reported that a tremor struck the region at 12:19 a.m. The epicenter was situated roughly 1 mile southeast of Danville, at a depth of 5 miles.
