SAN BENITO COUNTY, CA — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 3.5 magnitude quake jolted close to Pinnacles Saturday morning.
The tremor rattled the area at 1:31 a.m. It occurred at a depth of 7 miles with the epicenter positioned approximately 4 miles east of Pinnacles.

According to the USGS DYFI report, weak shaking was recorded and people in multiple cities—including Carmel, Seaside and Soledad—reported feeling the tremor.
