IMPERIAL COUNTY, CA — A 4.3 magnitude quake was registered close to Calipatria Friday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
A tremor hit the area at 2:55 a.m. The earthquake’s epicenter was positioned approximately 7 miles west-northwest of Calipatria and occurred at a depth of 7 miles.
