SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A preliminary 2.0 magnitude quake was registered near Ocotillo Wells Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook at 7:08 a.m., with its epicenter positioned about 4 miles north-northeast of Ocotillo Wells and a depth of 10 miles.
