An updated heat advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 3:16 p.m. in effect until 9 p.m. for Larimer County below 6,000 feet/Northwest Weld County, Boulder/Jefferson counties below 6,000 feet/West Broomfield County and North Douglas County below 6,000 feet/Denver/West Adams and Arapahoe counties/East Broomfield County.
The NWS describes, “High temperatures between 98 and 102 degrees expected.”
“Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses,” adds the NWS.
