An updated heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 2:21 p.m. in effect until 9 p.m. for the Eastern Plains.
The NWS adds to expect, “Heat index values up to 94 degrees to 105.”
“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” states the NWS.
