Update: Seismic activity on July 30 – 5.2 magnitude earthquake near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia recorded

A 5.2 magnitude quake was registered near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which struck the area at 16:01 UTC (03:01 local time), was centered approximately 205 km southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
