Update: June 8 – 5.2 magnitude earthquake registered near Sarangani, Philippines

A 5.2 magnitude quake shook near Sarangani on Monday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 09:28 UTC (17:28 local time), with its epicenter about 61 km south of Sarangani and a depth of 35 km. The magnitude was originally reported as 5.1 but later upgraded to 5.2.
