Update: Jan. 28 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake reported near Bantogon, Philippines

A 5.1 magnitude quake was registered close to Bantogon on Wednesday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck the area at 03:24 UTC (11:24 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter situated about 15 km west-northwest of Bantogon.
