FEIJÓ, AC — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Tarauacá Sunday morning.

At 11:42 UTC (06:42 local time), the region was rattled by a tremor. The earthquake shook at a depth of 478 km, with its epicenter approximately 135 km south-southwest of Tarauacá.
