Coventry won 1-0 at home to Portsmouth in the Championship. The only goal of the game came in the second half through Paterson.

A goal was scored right at the death in the 90th minute when Jamie Paterson netted to make it 1–0 for Coventry.

It leaves Coventry in sixth place and that Portsmouth are in 17th place.

The previous match between the teams ended in a 4-1 home win for Portsmouth in December.
